Bio –

Diana has two main origin stories. Her classic origin from 1941 goes that Wonder Woman was sculpted from clay by her mother, the Queen Hippolyta. The Greek Gods took compassion on Hippolyta and gave the clay statue life which in turn imbued her with the power of the gods. While on a recon mission Diana discovers US pilot Steve Trevor. Fascinated by him and the stories of the world he comes from she agrees to take him home but must stay in the modern world and help defend it from evil.

Her New 52 origin changes her back story in an interesting way. Rather than being a clay statue brought to life, she is now truly the daughter of Queen Hippolyta and Zeus.  Her original origin story is shown to be a cover to keep the new born demi-god safe from the wrath of Hera.

Diana is a founding member of the Justice League, and one of the most powerful heroes in the DC universe. Her strength is shown to be on par with Shazam, Martian Manhunter and Superman. Currently she has taken on the title and role of “God of War.” Wonder Woman has an arsenal of mystical weapons at her disposal. These include her Bracers of Victory, royal tiara, magical sword, and the Lasso of Truth. The Bracers of Victory are made from fragments of Zeus’s shield and can withstand any blast. Her royal tiara which is magical in nature can be used as a boomerang. Her magical sword can injure almost any character in the DC universe including Darkside and Superman. The Lasso of Truth has the ability to compel whoever is caught in it to tell the truth. The lasso can also restore memories and shield those close to it from magical attacks.

Bio –

Bruce Wayne, son of the wealthy Thomas and Martha Wayne, grew up in Wayne Manor in Gotham City. At the age of eight Bruce and his family encountered tragedy were leaving the theater one night.  An armed assailant came out of the shadows demanding Thomas’ wallet and in particular Martha’s pearl necklace. With tension high the assailant shot Thomas and Martha brutally as Bruce stood by helpless. Bruce was raised by the family butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Bruce swore vengeance for the murder of his parents and began to train himself both mentally and physically to not let this happen to others. Wanting to strike fear into his enemies, much like he was fear-stricken the night his parents died, he adapted his costume to resemble his greatest fear. Bruce spent many years learning as many forms of martial arts as he could. At the present time it’s said he is a master of all known martial arts. With arguably the highest IQ in the DC universe Bruce has earned the title of “the world’s greatest detective.”

Bruce naturally has a hard time letting people in and even those closest to him say they don’t know everything about him or understand his motives all the time. While Bruce has never come out and said it, he thinks of Alfred as family and on multiple occasions when asked why he lets his servant talk to him like that he has said,” He isn’t a servant, he is a friend.” This personality trait along with his unique night life has made it almost impossible for him to maintain a serious romantic relationship with anyone.

Bio –

While the true origin of The Joker is shrouded in mystery even to himself, there are a few things that we do know concerning the clown prince of crime. His first name (Jack) is all that is mentioned in the comics. It’s revealed he had a wife who was pregnant who unfortunately passed away in an accident.

The Joker started off his criminal life as a petty criminal called the Red Hood wearing a tuxedo, bright red cape and the iconic full red hood. After robbing his employer of over one million dollars the red hood is persuaded by Batman to a chemical facility where in an attempt to escape from Batman falls into a vat of chemicals transforming his appearance into what we recognize the joker today.

A true agent of chaos the Joker is a twisted example of how far a person can go. He is feared in the DC universe for his brutality and unpredictability. Possessing no superhuman abilities, he is a master chemist capable of creating lethal toxins and concealing them in average household products. The Joker is the perfect opposite to Batman, being the unstoppable force to his immovable object. The Joker believes he makes Batman into a better Batman, and doesn’t care who Batman is behind his cowl stating, Batman is Batman even when is isn’t wearing his mask just like I am who I am with or without his face.

Lex befriends a young Clark Kent while he is in Smallville. They both grew close and in an attempt to contact Krypton there is a violent explosion that causes Lex to lose all his hair. Lionel suffers a heart attack and Lex and his sister are raised by his aunt. It is explained that Lex was behind the heart attack his father suffered as a way to get back at him for what he did to them for all those years and to cash in on the substantial life insurance policy Lionel had.

Lex uses the money from his father’s life insurance to pay for his tuition to MIT and to help start LexCorp. He is so successful that he controls all media outlets other that the Daily Planet. With Clark Kent’s arrival to the Planet and Superman starting to appear the Daily Planet has incredible increases in circulation.  Lex holds superman responsible for losing his grip on the people of Metropolis. Lex’s ego leads him to believe that the only reason Superman commits good deeds is to somehow strike at him and prove who is better, arguing that it is impossible for Superman to be as good as he appears to be.
