E3 Bethesda Pre-Conference Elder Scrolls
Jason Golling
In the Bethesda pre-conference they announced a few new additions to the Elder Scrolls, now before you get too excited no I am not here to talk about an Elder Scrolls VI, just take a moment of silence to let that sink in.

Skyrim Special Edition
Alright, now that we are good to go they did announce a few awesome things that will be coming regarding Skyrim, the rumors were true Skyrim is getting a facelift. Starting on 10/28/2016 Skyrim Special Edition will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. If you own Skyrim and all the DLC on the PC you will get these upgrades free. The look of the special edition is better than many people can get even with mods, oh and did I mention that this will also bring mods to the console in the same way that Fallout 4 did. So not only will Consoles get a better look, but on top of that they will finally be able to turn Alduin into Thomas the train and fight him as a Jedi Knight!
Elder Scrolls Online Additions
I know that the Elder Scrolls Online is often forgotten by fans of the series and is kind of pushed aside and ignored while we all wait for TES VI, however it is worth mentioning some of the additions to it that were announced. Namely the next upcoming DLC for it is the Dark Brotherhood and they are not frail as they were in Skyrim they appear to be as strong and ready for a fight as the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion. On top of the Brotherhood making a return, the online game is being altered to remove all level limitations from in game areas, fights, and battles. This in order to make the Elder Scrolls online even more open to the player.

Elder Scrolls Legends
The Elder Scrolls Legends, is the new strategy card game that Bethesda has been working on, and we are closer to release than ever. Currently it is in closed beta and there has been no solid date given for the release. What we do know about the game is that you will gain magicka every turn and that is how you play your cards. There are two different lanes on the battlefield that you put your cards into. You can enchant each of the lanes with different effects, and you will also be able to choose whether to attack the opponent or his creatures. On top of that the Elder Scrolls Legends will be available on PC, Mac, IOS, and Android. Other than this information not much is yet known about the Elder Scrolls Legends.
That is what has been announced so far we are still waiting for the actual conference to start so we can see what else Bethesda and other companies have in store for us this year, only time will tell.
